LEADERSHIP

In my role as Director of Homeland Security for the Delaware River Port Authority, I’ve led initiatives for regional safety and security. Prior to that, I was the Director of Government Relations working with all the local municipalities along the PATCO line, including Haddonfield. I served for over 32 years in the military including a tour in Afghanistan and retired as a Lt. Colonel, earning Senior Army Aviator wings, the Air Assault Badge and a Bronze Star.

COMMUNITY

I’ve served on the boards of many community organizations, including Chair of Philadelphia Area Regional Transit Security Working Group, Chair of the Camden County Board of Social Services, Chair of the Commissioner's Advisory Group for the Philadelphia Valley Intelligence Center, and as a member of the South Jersey Tourism board and Camden County Environmental Board. I’m a  proud life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. One of my most rewarding community service projects was coaching little league and youth softball.
 

ATTORNEY

I earned a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers and a Master of Government
Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Fels Center for Government. I’m currently a part-time lecturer at Rutgers teaching Ethics in Government, NJ Politics, US Defense classes, and Introduction to American Politics. Additionally, my law practice is dedicated to helping farmers through the administrative hearing process for appealing USDA crop insurance denials.
 

FINANCE AND GRANT WRITING

In my capacity as Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for DRPA, I drove funding from $9 million to $150 million annually by securing federal grants. I created a coalition of toll agencies to lobby Congress for COVID-19 Stimulus relief. I also directed regional development projects for DRPA with budgets totaling $20 million and Led the regional effort to develop and win a BUILD grant for a transit station rebuild and opening.
